Out of the group the Mudcat Kings has emerged the band Crossroad Saints.  When you hear Crossroad Saints you may wonder whether they actually fell down on their knees at some moonlit Mississippi Delta crossroad...or were they sanctified at the alter of a Memphis church?  when they dig into a Muddy waters or Jimmy Reed blues classic you may think the former.  Then they launch into an Otis Redding or Sam Cooke tune and any given midnight suddenly gives way to sunday morning church service...a really jumping southern soul service!  The source of the mojo may remain a mystery but Crossroad Saints defy you to sit still when they get rolling!   

We play a wide and varied selection of blues standards and lesser known blues gems. Depending on the venue and mood you'll also get a dose of 1950's rock'n'roll, 60's and 70's soul, and the occasional rock classic, original, or instumental.  With such a wide reaching selection of music Crossroad Saints are capable of playing in any situation or venue for hours and the music stays fresh and engaging.
